My Full Name

Tammy Vahrmeyer

My Skool Community Name

Online Business Marketplace (OBM)

Brief Personal Background

I’m a single mom of 3 adult kids - in Ontario, Canada- almost an empty nester! 🥹 When I’m not working my FT job with the municipal govt, working on my online business and Skool, I am always doing something to learn and grow- reading, podcasts, also like hiking and water sports 😎

Brief Professional Background

University degree & College diploma in Business, I’ve always been entrepreneurial- dabbled in so many different things

How did you discover Skool?

A digital marketing business that I joined had their training modules in a Skool Classroom

What inspired you to start your Skool community?

I was part of the Hormozi tsunami lol - but definitely saw the need for what my community offers (because I’ve been there!) - for entrepreneurs and for entrepreneur wannabes!

What transformation do your members experience?

Entrepreneurs can transform their business by being able to promote (for cheap!) to an audience that is actually listening and they don’t have to worry about algorithms - and then for the ones looking - they can compare options without the spam - everything all in one place!

Who is your ideal community member?

I want kind, online business owners who like to engage - not just to sell but to offer value - who give more than they take! And also those who are overwhelmed with all of the online business opportunities who are not afraid to ask questions who can then see these options with some trust and clarity.

What's one unexpected lesson you've learned from running your community?

Regardless of what you THINK your community will look like, it is all dependent on who your members are and you end up growing with them and learning to adapt to what is needed rather than what you thought would happen.

If someone is considering joining your community, what would you tell them?

If you’re looking for something - come with questions, read the posts and engage and if you’re the one promoting - don’t be spammy - build relationships and let the sales follow naturally. We’ve only just begun and I aim for fun, kindness and value for all 🥰
