Brief Personal Background
Born in the Netherlands but more of a citizen of the world! Love to be in nature, especially hiking in the mountains. It makes me feel truly alive! Travelling in general is what I live for because it contribute to understanding the world and our place in it like nothing else! Travel is my drug, and curiosity is key to living a full life!
Brief Professional Background
An engineer on paper turned Curiosity Coach in real life. The bachelor degree I obtained by going to university has not been more than a piece of paper because I have worked all over the world in many different sectors and "industries". Before becoming a Curiosity Coach I worked as a Data Analyst but my passion is to help people become the best version of themselves!
How did you discover Skool?
After having seen about 10 to 20 advertisements on social media, I finally ditched social media and started focusing on Skool. The best platform out there!
What inspired you to start your Skool community?
I have met so many people in life that are tired of the lives they are living even though it seems like they have everything they ever wished for. But that's not life, life is about living it, not being lived by it. With this community we encourage people to not just do whatever is expected from them, but to question it. To think about it, and to be honest to yourself, asking yourself whether you are making your own choices or choices based on expectations of others.
What transformation do your members experience?
The members of the CLUES community go from being lived by XYZ to actually live life aligned with core values. That is both in their personal lives, as well as professionally because we are focusing on Skoolers who are building their communities and need help with igniting real engagement!
Who is your ideal community member?
For Skoolers who are willing to explore by asking questions before expecting to have all the answers. We always say, those who want to think, feel, and choose for themselves!
What's one unexpected lesson you've learned from running your community?
I never expected I'd love building an online community so much! Initally I thought it was a nice platform for courses or whatsoever but it's everything but that, the connections and shared growth is what really makes it unique. Here's to a life-long learning!
If someone is considering joining your community, what would you tell them?
If you don't like being told what to do, CLUES is the right place for you. We don't tell you what to do because we are not here to give advice, our focus is to encourage and help you in learning to ask more and better questions!
